drums fingers impatiently...
I'm still not used to saturday nights at home instead of playing somewhere in Orange County.  It's not a good feeling, since Kelly moved back to her parents' house today in, yes, Orange County.  We've had more stress this week - both are money- stretched and she has pretty much closed down emotionally to me for the time being.  With as much as she's had to deal with lately, I don't want to push her, tho I do.  Even a poorly placed grunt had turned into long painful dialogues about differences in philosophies.  A lousy situation made lousier when she is also moving 50 miles away.

Might have some new composing work - a company named Epiphany Pictures emailed me friday about scoring a video called "Chicken Soup fo Golfers" - will know more this week.  Also, may get another Disney Store assignment on monday, tho for smaller pay.

I can't remember a time when money was tighter - seriously.  What a lousy time to meet the woman you wanna marry.  I simply must get new gigs - I miss weekends in Orange County coffeehouses.

The worst part, as you already know, is the loop of the contacting-following-up-contacting-following-up-contacting-following-up-dance of getting new gigs. Orange County would love to have you back and I think places like The Neighborhood Cup, The Ugly Mug, and Borders (don't smack me on that one...they DO have live music and we need to be saved - PLEASE)among lots of other possibilities are worth checking out. When you're down here, grab a copy of the O.C. Weekly.

On the other note, these are the trying times in a relationship in which you find out how patient love can be. It's the hardest job in the world, this love thing. We clock in and hope for eternity. Anything short of that is a bonus.

Yeah, life is pretty sucky at the moment. I just packed up Kelly and she's on her way to O.C. I have to just release her and hope for the best. The last few days for her (and us) have been so stressful that when we said goodbye, I told her I love her, to not worry about us, just take care of her life, she knows where to find me. She said she appreciates it and that she loves me to. It came off way more Goodbye than it's sounding now. She's really hot, she goes to the gym every day, so I'm sure guys will be rubbing up on her immediately. What happens is really in her hands. So today is all about the tears and allowing this to be whatever it becomes. With $4 in the bank, I can't even buy a decent bottle of wine.

This really sux.
